About Tim Wood
Kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, free-standing furniture and architectural interiors are all custom-made and tailored exactly to the needs and specifications of each client to exacting standards in the UK. Tim Wood Limited is based in Wiltshire and in London regularly, the company works on both large and small projects, in the UK and Worldwide. After graduating from the renowned furniture designer John Makepeace OBE at Parnham College for Furniture Makers in 1983, Tim Wood has worked on commissions for a wide variety of clients and Tim Wood’s portfolio covers both private and commercial projects. Tim Wood’s extensive range of work extends from individual pieces such as a jewellery box or boardroom table to kitchens, libraries and bathrooms and to the interior design and fitting out of entire houses and commercial projects. Each project is uniquely designed and crafted from the very drawing to the final fitting. The emphasis is very much on achieving a close collaboration with the client, advising on appropriate materials, a careful choice of timbers and finishes, and an attention to detail which goes beyond the merely aesthetic.
Awards
The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers Award for young enterprise in 1993. Invited by what is now the British Institute of Interior Design in both 2000 and 2001 to Design, Make, Install and Exhibit Kitchens in The Showhouse at The Daily Telegraph/House & Garden Fair.

We went through several iterations of the designs, in which Tim worked very patiently with us to accommodate our requests until we were 100% happy with the designs.
The products were all delivered on time, without any delays or missing items, and Tim and crew were on site before the consignment arrived. They supervised the unloading of the container and started immediately with the installation, all of which was finished on time and to our complete satisfaction. Two minor parts that were damaged during the customs inspection were replaced immediately without a hitch. Tim Wood Ltd. organised the packaging and loading of a full 40-foot container for shipment by sea, including very fragile granite tops.
Many years on, we are still enjoying our lovely kitchen and closets, and the beautiful design and workmanship are admired by all our friends and visitors.

I am delighted with the kitchen and the utility room created by Tim for my new build property. The painted units are exactly as I envisaged, with attention to detail at every step. He took great care to ensure what I wanted would match with what was needed and the aesthetics. I wasn’t sure whether to have granite on the island as well as the worktops, so Tim pointed out that the wood top would fit in with the oak kitchen and patio doors. When I wanted a shelf above the Aga to take my cookery books, Tim was happy to accommodate the more complicated design, then happy to change the height to suit me. At every step he said ‘you are the client, you have what suits you’. The actual fitting process was efficiently carried out and all the electrical goods have been wonderful. The men particularly favour the siting of the wine cooler beside the fridge!
